I've been blogging for so long..even way before my city mixtape came out. I won't get a tumblr..no point - I'll use this right? I used to be so into this blog....posting essay long ideas and thoughts that came into my mind... then I had nothing to say....
because everything I said I started putting into my music...
I do have to say one thought though....
that mixtape you heard - 40's & high class shorties
on the front side of it..yeah, it's about partying your face off
but on the back side of it..
if you listen closely - maybe if you need to smoke to it..then smoke to it
because there is more metaphorical thoughts and shit that you'll hear
you never even realized u were listening to..
listen to the production - the beat..
just close your eyes and put your head phones on at night when your bored
focus on the left & right ear channel -
listen to the synths and the layers of sounds i mixed..
does it get visual at all? if you don't know I focus more on the feel of the record..
the beat side..the melody and all
soooo..
hopefully now you can appreciate this mixtape..
if you just listen a little closer
I remember staying up for 2 to 3 days straight mixing this album..I still work that hard..you have to
